The adventure of Cetilar Villorba Corse at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018 began yesterday with the first official test day.
Supported by PharmaNutra SPA with the Cetilar® brand, the Italian team on track with the drivers Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Felipe Nasr on the Dallara LMP2 has completed the tests in the top ten category with the eighth time and the first among the Dallara cars. The crew has covered more than 1000 km making 78 laps on the 13.629 meters of the legendary French track that will be the scene of the most famous 24 hours race in the world, the next June 16 and 17.

Positive data emerged from the laps completed by the crew formed by Lacorte and Sernagiotto, who live their second consecutive adventure at Le Mans, in addition to the ex F1 pilot, the Brazilian Felipe Nasr who debuted on the French track arriving only on Sunday afternoon directly from Detroit, where he won the test of the IMSA Championship. Nasr took the wheel of the Dallara in the final part of the day, while Lacorte and Sernagiotto have done a fruitful job during the tests for the aerodynamic regulations of the prototype, trying different solutions also in terms of set up. The team showed cohesion and enthusiasm for their come back and their second consecutive time on the circuit de la Sarthe.

“The conclusion of the tests is certainly positive, many favourable data have emerged and above all the excellent team spirit”, underlined Team Principal, Raimondo Amadio, “the work of Lacorte and Sernagiotto showed a solid growth in this very important preliminary phase. Although with fewer laps compared to the two Italians, Nasr came in tune with the track and the car. The low-downforce kit also gave us a good feedback. Now we have to optimize the race configuration and work on the 24-hours distance “
