He started with one goal: to quickly <strong>make this race the most important offshore regatta in the Mediterranean<\/strong>. Mission already completed, judging by <strong>the huge number of participants<\/strong> (last year there were 190 boats on the starting line out of the 217 registered) and by <strong>the interest expressed at all levels<\/strong>, even by the non sailing professional world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, first through its brand Celadrin, then since last year with <strong>Cetilar<\/strong>, a formulation entirely patented and produced at home, the support of <strong>PharmaNutra SPA<\/strong> as main sponsor was natural, immediate and accompanied over the years by a pool of companies that currently includes <strong>Slam, Rigoni di Asiago and Acqua dell&#8217;Elba<\/strong>.<br \/>\n&#8220;Clearly the initial PharmaNutra support for the 151 Miglia race came about for reasons that went beyond strictly commercial logic,&#8221; recalls <strong>Lacorte<\/strong>, &#8220;but over the years the regatta has grown dramatically also in <strong>visibility<\/strong> and consequently in <strong>value<\/strong>, justifying an investment that has always been quite sizeable, both in economic terms and in terms of commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why the sponsorship has been confirmed for the further growth of the event that will begin one week before the start of the regatta &#8211; planned this year for <strong>Thursday, 31 May, between Marina di Pisa and Livorno<\/strong> &#8211; with a series of events designed entirely by Cetilar representing the principal new dimension of the next edition.<br \/>\n&#8220;We do believe that the event still has a great deal of room to grow and we want to prove it. So, we are continuing to <strong>work hard <\/strong>to ensure that the regatta will attract more and more participants and \u2013above all \u2013 be organized for the sailors. But we also decided to go further, with a series of events that will take place in the the <strong>Port of Pisa<\/strong>\u201d, explains Lacorte, who has always experienced the 151 Miles as a sailor as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the weekend before the departure, between <strong>Friday the 25<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of May<\/strong>, the coastline nearby will be the scene of a running race, the <strong>&#8220;15.1 Run&#8221;<\/strong>, the proceeds of which will be donated entirely to charity. There will also be a stage of the spectacular <strong>Mediterranean Series circuit of the M32 catamarans<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;151 Bimbi a Vela&#8221;<\/strong> (i.e., 151 Children Sailing), an event set up <strong>to introduce the boys and girls to sailing and sport<\/strong> through competitions, games and the possibility of testing small boats.<br \/>\n&#8220;To make an event grow means involving many people.
