The event, entitled\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.societamanagement.it\/attivita\/convegno-annuale\/sinergie-sima-2020-conference\"><strong><em>\u201cGrand challenges: companies and universities working for a better society\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/a> will address the role that enterprise and university are required to play in constructing a new model of development, based on ethical, social and environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Amongst the companies that took part in yesterday afternoon&#8217;s session was<strong> PharmaNutra<\/strong>, with its <strong>CEO and co-founder, Roberto Lacorte<\/strong>. His speech focused on the role of <strong>businesses as social aggregators<\/strong> through sponsoring activities and sports events. In fact, for PharmaNutra, not only is sport a vehicle for advertising, it is also a means for <strong>promoting a culture of well-being and a healthy, active lifestyle<\/strong>, as well as being a <strong>method for increasing interest in our local area <\/strong>and a tourist attraction that in turn generates positive results for the hospitality sector. At the end of his presentation, Mr. Lacorte provided some insight\u00a0 into the <strong>role of the manager in modern enterprise <\/strong>and how businesses can work proactively with universities to create new pathways for projects and shared objectives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A specific session at the Sinergie-SIMA 2020 conference was set aside for the topic of <strong>starting afresh<\/strong> <strong>following the COVID-19 health emergency, <\/strong>which analysed various <strong>responses put in place by companies<\/strong>.
