A further international boost for the Group

The SiderAL® product line, based on Sucrosomial® Iron, the innovative patent that has earned PharmaNutra Group a leading position in the production of iron-based nutritional supplements, continues to strengthen its presence on international markets, thanks to the important agreements recently signed with partners Win Medica, for Greece, and Medintorg, for Ukraine.

The agreement with WinMedica, already a PharmaNutra S.p.A. partner for the distribution of the SiderAL® Adult line in Greece, was signed by Junia Pharma S.r.l., the Group company that deals exclusively with the development and sale of paediatric products. This new agreement is for the launch on the market of SiderAL® Drops, the first Sucrosomial® Iron product exclusively for the paediatric sector in Greece.

The agreement with Medintorg, another long-established partner of PharmaNutra S.p.A. for the Russian Federation, is for the distribution of SiderAL® products – specifically, SiderAL® Int, SiderAL® Forte and SiderAL® Drops – in Ukraine, an EU country with a population of over 42 million and a real GDP that grew by 3.4% in the last quarter of 2018 (source: Agenzia Nova).

Both agreements will strengthen relations with partners that have contributed to the growth of PharmaNutra Group on international markets, a further confirmation of the scientific value of Sucrosomial® Technology, the innovative patent of Alesco S.r.l., the Group company that produces and distributes raw materials for the pharmaceutical and food supplements industry, on which the SiderAL® products are based.

Andrea Lacorte, President of PharmaNutra, explained that “Among the reasons for PharmaNutra’s constant growth on international markets is the extension and consolidation of the Group’s existing relations with our partners abroad. An example of this are the new agreements signed with Win Medica and Medintorg, with which we are already operating in Greece and Russia, to the satisfaction of all three parties and with clearly successful results. The desire to consolidate these relations further is indicative of mutual trust and confidence and will give us a stronger foothold in the areas concerned and help us extend our presence there”.
