Parma Calcio reconquers Serie A

The team wins on the last day and gets direct promotion in the top division.

 

After the ninety, intense minutes of game, on the last day of the Serie B Championship, Parma Calcio 1913, of which PharmaNutra SPA is main sponsor through its brand Cetilar ®, celebrated yesterday this important milestone: to be directly promoted in Serie A .
Thanks to the victory obtained in La Spezia, the team coached by Mister Roberto D’Aversa has closed the ranking of Serie B in second position behind Empoli, and has passed at the photo finish Frosinone, stopped yesterday at home by Foggia with a draw and then forced to face the playoffs to earn a place in Serie A for the 2018-2019 season.
A goal that was brilliantly achieved by Parma Calcio: the team returns to the top league after four years (in 2014-15 the last experience in Serie A), with great satisfaction for a city which has been used to live football at the highest level stages (in the ’90s Parma Calcio has been a great protagonist both in Italy and in Europe) and for a club that has managed to start from scratch with seriousness and passion. Parma Calcio achieved an historic milestone in Italian football, being the first team in Italy to succeed in winning three consecutive promotions and passing in just three seasons from Serie D to Serie A.

A deep bond with the territory of Parma, which over the years has been further consolidated with the partnership with the famous car manufacturer Dallara in the team Cetilar Villorba Corse, in preparation for the next 24 Hours of Le Mans, and in the Cetilar Run, the running race that was successfully disputed in Parma just last week.

PharmaNutra SPA, Parma Calcio’s main sponsor, is experiencing an important period of strong growth, as confirmed by the shareholders’ meeting held on 23 April. During this meeting, the financial balance for the year ended on December 31, 2017 has been approved, it reports an operating profit equal to 4.547.792 euros, and the amount of the dividend that will be distributed to the shareholders was resolved, equal to € 0.33 per share.
