Cetilar Villorba Corse wins Autosprint’s award, il Casco d’Oro d’Italia

Wednesday evening at the Bologna Motor Show, Cetilar Villorba Corse received the Casco d’Oro d’Italia award from Autosprint for Italian excellence in motorsport, a recognition that caps the amazing season for the team led by Raimondo Amadio and supported by PharmaNutra through its Cetilar brand.

Racing drivers Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi, together with the Team Principal and the manufacturer of the Dallara P217, received the prestigious award for their participation in the European Le Mans Series with the LMP2 prototype, which ended with the exploit of entering the top-10 for their debuts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A great and exciting challenge in which Cetilar Villorba Corse (http://cetilarvillorbacorse.com/) will participate again in 2018. This is what Amadio, engineer Giampaolo Dallara and Roberto Lacorte announced during the awards presentation ceremony.

In the multiple roles of race driver, Vice President and CEO of PharmaNutra SPA, main sponsor of the team, Lacorte himself commented: “It was a fantastic year, enhanced by the great experience at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A dream come true, thanks to an excellent staff and an extraordinary Team Principal like Raimondo. I am most grateful to him, as well as to the rest of the crew. The Casco d’Oro is an important award, because when we talk about motorsport, and not only Italian motorsport, it represents absolute excellence. In addition to receiving this award from a qualified jury, in the course of the evening we met many people, drivers and others who have made history in sports car endurance trials, starting with Giampaolo Dallara. We are now more aware than ever of the importance of what we have accomplished with commitment and sacrifice.”
